Padel World Cup 2026 in Doha
Group matches start at 06:00 and 10:00 Eastern Time in the United States, and beIN holds rights there but no Doha stream is announced.
Dates, Venue and Format
The padel World Cup 2026 runs 2 to 7 November in Doha, Qatar, with 32 national teams. The International Padel Federation (FIP) publishes the schedule, and the matches are played at the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex.
- When: 2 to 7 November 2026. Group matches run 2 to 4 November, the knockout stage starts on 5 November, and the finals close the event on 7 November.
- Who: 32 national teams, 16 men's and 16 women's.
- Where: the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex in Doha, where the final is played on Doha's Central Court.
- Watch: beIN SPORTS holds World Cup rights in 39 territories, including the United States and Canada. No Doha-specific stream has been published.
Each competition, men's and women's, has four groups of four teams. Group ties are best of three. The top two teams in each group advance to the quarter-finals, and the remaining teams compete for 9th to 16th places.
The prize fund is EUR 1.2 million (euros), split equally between the men's and women's tournaments. FIP calls it "the highest amount ever awarded at an official Padel competition."
Padel World Cup Match Days
The group stage runs 2 to 4 November. Women's matches start at 14:00 Doha time and men's matches at 18:00 Doha time, according to FIP's schedule. The table lists each day of the event.
| Date | Stage | Start times published |
|---|---|---|
| Sunday 1 November | Opening ceremony and draws for the first stage | No time published |
| 2 to 4 November (Monday to Wednesday) | Group stage | Women's 14:00 and men's 18:00, Doha time |
| Thursday 5 November | Knockout stage begins | Not published |
| Friday 6 November | Semi-finals | Not published |
| Saturday 7 November | Third-place play-offs in the morning, then the finals | Not published |
The local times below are converted from the 14:00 and 18:00 Doha start times in FIP's schedule, using Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) offsets. United States (US) clocks go back one hour on 1 November 2026, so US Eastern is UTC-5 for these matches.
| Time zone | Women's start | Men's start |
|---|---|---|
| Doha (UTC+3) | 14:00 | 18:00 |
| Madrid (Central European Time, CET) | 12:00 | 16:00 |
| London (Greenwich Mean Time, GMT) | 11:00 | 15:00 |
| Buenos Aires | 08:00 | 12:00 |
| New York (US Eastern) | 06:00 | 10:00 |
| Chicago (US Central) | 05:00 | 09:00 |
| Denver (US Mountain) | 04:00 | 08:00 |
| Los Angeles (US Pacific) | 03:00 | 07:00 |
Doha is UTC+3 all year. On 2 to 4 November, US Eastern sits 8 hours behind Doha, so 14:00 in Doha is 06:00 in New York, and 18:00 is 10:00. Each step west from New York moves the start time back one hour, so Chicago's women's start is 05:00 and Los Angeles's is 03:00.
FIP does not publish knockout session times. The table therefore lists 5 to 7 November without start times, and FIP gives no time for the semi-finals or the finals.
Teams Qualified for the Padel World Cup
As of 20 October 2026, Qatar News Agency (QNA) listed 15 qualified teams in each category. The men's list reads:
- Qatar (host)
- Argentina (reigning world champion)
- Spain
- Portugal
- Italy
- UAE (United Arab Emirates)
- Brazil
- France
- Chile
- Sweden
- USA (United States)
- Mexico
- Paraguay
- Netherlands
- Germany
The women's list reads:
- Qatar (host)
- Spain
- Argentina
- Italy
- Portugal
- Netherlands
- Sweden
- France
- Brazil
- Belgium
- USA (United States)
- Paraguay
- Chile
- Germany
- Great Britain
Qatar hosts both competitions. QNA quotes tournament director Tariq Darwish Zainal as saying Qatar's team is ranked among the world's top 10. He also said Qatar won gold at the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games, where padel made its Asian Games debut.
FIP's qualifiers ran in three regions before Kuwait. The Toronto event covered North and Central America, the Asunción event covered South America, and the Madrid event covered Europe. FIP's Europe report says the Madrid event gave four European places: Germany and the Netherlands in the men's draw, and Germany and Great Britain in the women's draw. FIP's reports do not say which event produced each of the remaining teams.
The last place in each category is decided at the Asia-Africa qualifiers in Kuwait, from 26 to 30 October 2026. The Kuwait tournament awards one men's place and one women's place. The Kuwait field had 14 men's teams and 13 women's teams, split into four groups in each category, with group winners moving to a knockout phase. As of 29 October the Kuwait tournament had not finished, and neither FIP nor QNA names the two qualifiers. The draw and group allocations will follow those qualifiers, according to QNA.
How the Group Stage Works
Each group has four teams and each team plays the other three, so a group holds six ties. Four groups make 24 ties per competition and 48 across both.
Eight ties per competition are played on each of the three group days, 2 to 4 November. Every tie is best of three, so a single tie can run up to three matches.
The top two teams in each group advance to the quarter-finals, and the remaining teams in each competition play for 9th to 16th places.
Padel matches are scored as explained in padel scoring, and the basic rules of the sport are in padel rules. FIP does not publish group draws, seeding or results.

Tickets and Prize Money
QNA reports that tickets are available online through official platforms. QNA gives no ticket prices and does not name the platforms. FIP's news page is where a ticketing announcement would appear. FIP does not publish prize money for individual placings.
